• The transcript or captions of the currently opened YouTube video
• Basic video information such as the video title, URL, and video ID
• Extension settings and usage information stored locally in your browser

The Extension does not access unrelated websites or your general browsing history.

3. How Data Is Used

Video transcript and related video information are used only to:

• Generate AI-powered summaries
• Generate structured notes and timestamps
• Display the results inside the Extension
• Allow users to copy or export generated content

We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or selling user information.

4. AI Processing

To generate summaries, transcript text may be transmitted to our backend server and to third-party AI service providers used to process the request.

The transmitted content is used only for generating the requested summary or related output.

5. Data Storage

The Extension may store basic settings and usage information locally in your browser using Chrome storage.

Video transcripts and generated summaries are not permanently stored on our servers unless explicitly required for technical processing.

Temporary server-side data, if any, is deleted after processing or retained only for the minimum period necessary for service reliability and security.

6. Personal Information

The Extension does not require users to create an account for basic usage.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information.

If account or payment features are introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell user data.

Data may only be shared with service providers that are necessary to operate the Extension, such as:
